Mameko was an ordinary middle school girl - quiet, shy, studious, and a little unsure of herself. She excelled in her studies, but the one skill she always lacked was creativity. When asked to draw something, she would look to the teacher for an idea, and when asked to write, she struggled with anything other than essay prompts - nonfiction only!
One fateful morning, she stumbled upon a fight between an angel and a monster on her way to school. With the monster about to strike the final blow, she ran to the angel's side, and its power caused her to transform into a magical girl! The monster was toast! The angel thanked her and introduced itself as Komame, angel of creativity. Upon hearing of her troubles, Komame believed that a monster like the one they'd just fought was responsible for Mameko's missing creativity - if they teamed up, they could surely find the culprit and get it back! Mameko agreed...as long as this new job didn't affect her studies. And an angel following her around definitely would!
Some time later, Mameko made it to the school gates, late for the very first time in her life...but with a little more confidence, and a cute little cat plushie hidden in her backpack. She'll have to work hard to balance her schoolwork with her magical girl work, but with her angel of creativity at her side, Mameko is sure that everything will work out!
